Fabrice Muamba

Ex footballer Fabrice Muamba played for Arsenal, Birmingham City, Bolton Wanderers and England Under-21s.

In 2012, Fabrice suffered a cardiac arrest during a televised FA Cup match between Bolton and Tottenham Hotspur, from which he recovered despite his heart having stopped for 78 minutes. Following medical advice, he announced his retirement from professional football in August 2012.

Fabrice has completed his UEFA A licence football coach and in 2022, he signed a one year deal with Bolton Wanderers to become the Bolton U15’s Manager. In 2023, Fabrice moved to Burnley FC, in which he became U16’s coach, and regularly works with the U18s’s.  

Media wise, Fabrice has worked for the likes of Sky Sports, Premier League, BBC, ITV and talkSPORT. In 2013, he was part of ITV’s coverage of the Africa Cup of Nations.

Aside from football, Fabrice is a huge gaming enthusiast and he has his own streaming Twitch channel, and has recently worked with the FA to help promote their eLions FIFA tournament.

Fabrice has collaborated with Global brands such as Samsung, Guinness, Versus and Snap Chat, as well as working as a motivational speaker at various educational and corporate events.
